PUBLIC NOTICE : Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Nassau
has introduced and proposed for adoption Local Law No. 2 of 2018, which establishes
a nine-month moratorium on applications for, or installations of, solar energy
systems and facilities other than small-scale roof-mounted or ground-mounted
systems that are for the primary purpose of producing electricity for on-site
residential or business use.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Nassau will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2018 on May 10, 2018, at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall located at 29 Church Street, Nassau, NY, at which time and place all those wishing to comment on the proposed Local Law will have an opportunity to be heard. Written comments will also be accepted at that time and place. A copy of the proposed Local Law is available for review at the Town Hall or on the Town website, townofnassau.org.
