Transfer Station

Nassau Town Hall
29 Church Street
Nassau, NY 12123

Description:
Welcome to the Town of Nassau

Dear Nassau Resident:

Thank you for supporting recycling in Nassau!

The Transfer Station is run in a way that incurs the least amount of expense for our residents but achieves the highest rate of convenience and recycling in our roles as stewards of Nassau.

You will notice some fee increases this year. This is due to the collapse of the international recycling market which has increased Town costs nearly 200%. The Town's budget has absorbed much of this increase for the past year. However, we are no longer able to do so. As always, we will continue to look for ways to reduce our expenses and increase our service. We always welcome your suggestions on how to achieve these goals.

Please take a few moments to review the Transfer Station guidelines. If you need any assistance, please be sure to ask our staff for help. We look forward to serving you in 2024.

Thank you,
David Fleming, Jr.
Town of Nassau Supervisor
